Stories from the Balcony

Summer evenings at Alma
There are evenings that write their own stories. At Alma, this often happens on the balconies, when the sun slowly disappears behind the peaks, the sky turns shades of orange and pink, and the village below grows quiet.
Our guests sit outside then, sometimes quietly with a glass of wine in hand, sometimes deep in conversation, sometimes simply listening: to the cowbells, the birdsong, the day gently coming to an end.
We love these moments because they’re all so different, yet share one thing: they belong entirely to you. Someone tells the story of their first long mountain hike, a family laughs about building dams together in the stream, someone else just sits there, enjoying the feeling of having arrived.
As hosts, we’re often lucky enough to be part of these moments - through a conversation in the evening, a chance meeting on the terrace, or simply the quiet knowing that someone is happy right now. And that’s what drives us.
Maybe you’ll write your own story on your next stay - with a view of meadows and mountains, a good glass in hand, and an evening sky you won’t soon forget.
At home in nature.
365 days. For small stories and big moments.
